JESUS, THE ONE WHO HOLDS THE KEYS
BIG IDEA:
Jesus holds the key to eternity AKA He is the One who calls the shots and has the final say…and He calls us to keep holding on to His promises.
The church in Philadelphia had little strength but they were holding on. Jesus reminded them that He holds the key – He opens doors no one can shut.
WHAT DO WE LEARN ABOUT JESUS?
- JESUS IS THE ONE WHO HOLDS THE KEY. Jesus has the ultimate authority over eternity (Revelation 3:7-8)
- JESUS REWARDS FAITHFULNESS. Even when we feel weak, Jesus honours those who stay committed (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
- JESUS IS COMING BACK. Jesus calls us to keep holding on because He is faithful…and He is coming soon! (Revelation 3:11)
